Daycare Assistant, Full time or Part time

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our team. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, supervising playtime, and ensuring the well-being of each child under your care.

### Duties:

- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum for children
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety at all times
- Provide assistance with feeding, diapering, and other basic needs
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Assist in the development of social, emotional, and cognitive skills through engaging activities
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment

### Experience:

- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, childcare, or similar setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in classroom management or nannying is beneficial

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
