Job Description
We are seeking a Tow Truck driver to work day shifts - 5 days per week.
You will interact with customers, police officers, dispatch and office staff. You will also collect payments, collaborate with the operations and dispatching team, and perform roadside assistance duties.
Essential Functions
· As a Roadside Technician, you will operate a variety of towing vehicles including wreckers, and flatbeds.
· Provide flat tire changes, lock-out, fuel delivery battery jump-start, extrication, and transportation of disabled vehicles
· Interact with customers, law enforcement, and fellow employees establishing rapport, building relationships, and trust.
· Utilize on-board computer, radio communications, and mapping systems.
· Complete daily paperwork (i.e., call-logs, cash receipts, etc.)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 25 years of age or older
- Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license with minimal driving infractions/incidents.
- Must be able to successfully complete drug screening, MVR, criminal background check, and DOT health screenings (both pre-employment and ongoing).
- Ability to navigate iPhone and apps required for calls and communication.
- Customer service experience including ability to effectively communicate and understand the need for meeting/exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to operate vehicles with automatic and/or manual transmissions
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
- Experience servicing vehicles such as providing fuel, performing jumpstarts, providing lockout service, and changing flat tires.
- Safely operate a wheel lift, flatbed, dolly towing equipment.
- Commercial driving or prior towing experience (preferred)
- Must be available nights and weekends
- Must have reliable transportation

Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Working outdoors at vehicle breakdown locations. Lifting and carrying tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day; bending, kneeling, and stooping as required for service calls. Works in all weather and all traffic conditions.
