Adult Day Program Supervisor

- Oversee, monitor, and coordinate the daily operations of a Day Program providing services to individuals.
- Communicate with the staff, serviced individuals, parents/guardians, and team members to ensure that appropriate services and supports are provided; coordinate Day Program activities consistent with personal support/habilitation plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment at the Day Program.
- Ensure that Day Program placement and schedules align with each individual's IHP/ISP.
- Ensure that Medication Administration for unlicensed personnel rules are adhered to and in compliance with state law.
- Coordinate and work in cooperation with residential staff/family when participant has medical appointment or any other outside need resulting in a shortened day and prepare billing accordingly.
- Ensure that the Day Program complies with the standards of all applicable state and private certification and licensing agencies.
- Complete monthly inspections and work with supervisor to contribute to corrective action plan, if necessary.
- Cooperate with the licensee and Department of Human Services in any inspection or investigation.
- With team of DSPs and supervisor, along with other resources, create, post and distribute a monthly calendar of daily events and activities in advance of the new month.
- Work with Support Administrators/county board employees and others to advertise and grow program, in accordance with overall REM regional plan.
- Ensure that all staff under your supervision are current with REM and DoDD training requirements, especially attending to rules specific for Day Programs and maintain documents.
- Complete and submit billing in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure that all vehicles have proper documentation, comply with state and licensing agencies, and that regular maintenance is maintained.
- Implement safety and fire procedures according to all regulations and standards.
- Maintain monthly budgets and required documentation, complete payroll documentation for all-Day Program employees, and evaluate and order monthly supplies.
- Serve on committees as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One year related work experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
- Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve.
- Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
