Day Program Staff

Full-Time Day Position Available Monday-Friday! $500 SIGN-ON BONUS!!

Seeking a full-time entry-level Day Program Worker working with adults with developmental disabilities in a vocational setting.

Primary duties include: teaching social, vocational, and daily living skills to adults with disabilities; leading and participating in activities that promote community integration, self-advocacy, and independence.

This position requires a Monday –Friday work schedule with varying hours starting from 7:15 am to approximately 3:45 pm; occasional residential hours/shifts may be assigned during Day Program closure; and participation in after-hour and weekend activities as needed.

The ideal candidate must possess professionalism, flexibility, the ability to work alone or in a team setting, be dependable, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

· HSD or GED

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Great organizational and time management skills

· Valid Driver’s license with fewer than 6 points on driving record

· Current auto insurance

· Must have an acceptable background check

· Ability to drive a passenger van or small bus (no CDL required)
