Job Description
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
- Refilling all restroom dispensers.
- Cleaning, dusting, and wiping property furniture.
- Sweeping property by job scope parameters.
- Mopping or vacuuming floors by job scope parameters.
- Emptying and cleaning wastebaskets and trash containers.
- Emptying and cleaning ashtrays and cigarette urns.
- Reporting required maintenance and repair of assigned tools and equipment to the Field Supervisor.
- Locking and unlocking assigned buildings; securing buildings when facilities are not in use, checking for unlocked doors and windows, reporting any unauthorized occupants, and turning off lights.
- Following safety instructions regarding the proper use of chemicals, cleaning supplies, and tools. Using only as directed.
- Washing accessible interior and exterior windows. Cleaning blinds.
- Laundering cleaning rags and dust mops.
- Tending to emergency Property Manager needs as needed.
- Calling in the status of work orders to Field Supervisors.
- Safely operating all vehicles and other job-related equipment (only after adequate and documented training).
- Utilizing a company-provided blower to shift dirt and debris from parking lots and sidewalks into a centralized location; debris and dirt are then disposed of by dust pan.
- Report to work on a regular and consistent basis.
- Communicate in a friendly and courteous manner with all people encountered while working.
- Performing other job-related duties as required.
Work Environment:
- Work may be indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions from hot (90+ degrees) to cold (40 degrees), in the wind and rain.
- Frequently working in areas that may be dusty.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience is required.
- Detailed oriented.
- Ability to work in a team, as well as independently.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Able to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Reliable, responsible, honest, pleasant to others, and act professionally always.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
- Be able to pass a drug screening.
- Flexible schedule to work weekends.
- Work overtime to complete a job, as needed.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Comply with all safety procedures and Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must meet all physical requirements.
- Communicate with a supervisor.
- Required to always wear the appropriate safety equipment for the task, which includes gloves, goggles, safety vest, and any other safety equipment that the task requires.
- Valid Driver's License and Insurance (certain positions).
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is required for some assignments.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly standing and/or walking during production time.
- Frequently bending/stooping/squatting/kneeling.
- Occasionally climbing stairs.
- Occasionally pushing or pulling by exerting twenty (20) to fifty (50) lbs. of force.
- Frequently reaching and lifting an object weighing five (5) to ten (10) pounds over shoulder height.
- Frequently using hands and fingers to manage tools, objects, and controls by grasping, gripping, and turning.
- Lifting, and carrying 41 - 60 lbs. Occasional, 1 - 40 lbs. Constant.
