Day Patrol and Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor

As a Day Patrol and Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.

Your schedule would be Monday though Friday 8:00 am-4:00pm for a total of 40 hours. Please do not apply if this schedule does not work with your availability.

Duties and Responsibilities: The following are duties you may perform at your site. Duties include but are not limited to:

• interacting with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public
• performing maintenance on company vehicle fleet
• interacting with at-risk populations, most specifically individuals experiencing homelessness.
• maintaining situational awareness at all times
• conducting foot patrols
• conducting mobile patrols
• denying access to unauthorized personnel
• securing sites and preventing vandalism and theft
• screening and conducting metal detector wanding and bag checks to ensure no contraband is being brought to the site
• performing liquor control, preventing outside alcohol from coming in and inside alcohol from going out of the facility
• monitoring alcohol use and and prevent patrons from over drinking and being overserved
• scanning QR codes/NFC tags
• assisting with emergencies and building evacuations
• utilizing reporting systems and contacting appropriate parties for site situations
• utilizing closed-circuit camera systems and review footage to maintain awareness of the site and its property
• issuing, maintaining, and facilitating badge access for your site
• maintaining confidentiality of all activities within your site
• utilizing verbal judo to de-escalate situations
• utilizing minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you
• maintaining a professional and conservative demeanor at all times
• following SOPs at sites
• following, communicating, and enforcing local laws and regulations
• prepared to assist first responders in the event of a crisis or emergency

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: Pay rate is $23.00-$24.00/hour.

This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits.

Requirements:

Your application will be automatically rejected if you are not 21 years of age or older, do not have a high school diploma or GED, and/or do not have previous firearm experience.

• 21 years of age or older
• de-escalation skills
• high school diploma or GED
• pass required background check
• eligible to legally use a firearm
• previous firearm experience
• Vehicle Maintenance skills/experience
• experience with at-risk populations
• valid driver’s license
• clean driving record
• able to work the posted hours without modification

Physical Requirements:

• able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
• ability to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
• able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
• able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
• able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
• able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
• able to wear issued gear belt as needed
