Intel is seeking a seasoned Datacenter Technician/Engineer to work in a scale out AI datacenter developing PoC and engineering cluster using the latest technologies.
Areas of responsibility for this role include, but not limited to the following:
- Maintain Netbox Data center infrastructure management (DCIM)/Configuration management. database (CMDB)/IP address management (IPAM) system.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux based systems and network software.
- Implementation and maintenance of automation to harvest and validate data for Netbox system.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of datacenter equipment and consumables.
- Server and network hardware troubleshooting.
- Assist with racking and unracking equipment.
- Assist with Installing, dressing, and maintaining fiber and copper network cabling.
- Lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
You must possess the minimum education requirements noted below and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 3+ years of experience or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 2+ years of experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Linux/Unix System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting server and network hardware.
- 2+ years of experience working with any combination of DCIM, CMDB, or IPAM.
- 1+ years of experience in Linux/Unix scripting.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience installing and dressing network cabling.
