Responsibilities
What You'll be Doing:
- Design develops and revises conceptual, logical, and physical data models that conform to Data Architecture standards for the Digital Data Architecture
- Determines database structural requirements by analyzing business operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with business partners; evaluating current systems.
- Applies expertise and best practices to the development and revision of data architecture standards and conventions
- Partners with infrastructure and cyber team to ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and procedures
- Partners business users to obtain requirements for enhancements and/or new analytic assets
- Understands how data is used to support analytical and/or operational reporting including architectural dependencies, high-volume processing, and enterprise-level integration
- Works with teams to integrate data across clinical, administrative, and financial source systems including the management of critical master data
- Writes and/or reviews functional and technical specification documents
- Responsible for maintaining integrity of database information
- Provides off hours support of critical report production applications and ETL's when necessary
- Manages middleware interface programs and or applications that move data between systems using ETL functions
- Develops custom code and scripts to support delivery and presentation of data warehouse
- Create data flows and conceptual models defining the informational needs of solutions
- Makes and champions technical recommendations for more efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE:
- 8+ years in Data Modeling and Data Warehouse concepts, design and best practices
- 8+ years in Data Processing concepts, design and best practices, ETL, ELT
- Proven ability to troubleshoot DW environment related issues, such as dependencies, keys
- Proven ability to design, support DW and processing with large volumes of data and experience tuning ETL, reports and queries.
- Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server - SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar
- Expertise in SQL programming
- Experience in SQL Database administration
- Proving experience in building and maintaining large, complex Data Warehouses
- Strong ability to build consensus; ability to influence others
- Experience working both independently and, in a team, oriented collaborative environment
- Strong experience in current software engineering and solution delivery methodologies
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner
- Works effectively under pressure, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously and can work without direct supervision
- Expert level in excel and MS Office Suite
- Off hours support will be required

- Experience working with Power BI
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- BI Architect Experience
