Data Validation Associate

As a Data Validation Associate, you will perform research to help validate our unique datasets and data models. You'll be an early member of a small but growing group of researchers within the Product team who will help support Windfall's continued growth by implementing systems and processes as the company scales.

Responsibilities:

• Perform focused research on US households to help validate our models and dataset
• Explore and evaluate new datasets on populations, household finances, real estate, and more
• Interpret and expand upon company data quality assurance standards
• Perform analyses to ensure we continue to improve our product quality 
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deliver new products at the highest quality

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in a professional research role or equivalent demonstrated success
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, such as a start-up or a small non-profit
• Basic statistical analysis skills and understanding of data science concepts
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Understanding of consumer financial data and signals of wealth
• Knowledge of and interest in SaaS or data companies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or a social science (e.g. Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Public Policy)
• Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets, Jira, and Looker Studio
• Domain knowledge of marketing technology and/or nonprofit prospect research
• Previous professional experience in nonprofit prospect research or management, wealth management, or marketing analytics

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across California and Colorado. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. California: Salary range is $60k-$70k
