Blue Rose is seeking a Data Strategist to support our work with a federal client. This role is a Hybrid role (in the office 1 day a week) in Washington, DC. This role is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.Successful candidates must have an Active Secret Security Clearance.In this role you will:
- Develop and implement a data strategy and architecture for improving the management, governance, and security of that information
- Enable organizations to have a single source of truth for all data, helping them translate information into action to drive efficiency and competitive advantage
- Establish standards, policies, procedures, and operating models for data management and governance, and define data architecture and roadmaps for enterprise data and analytics platforms
- Define strategy and roadmap for enterprise-scale data and AI initiatives
- Find ways to accelerate the collection of information
- 2 years experience in Data Literacy, Governance, and Strategy
- Demonstrated understanding of Data Literacy including data sources, assets, applications, applied methods of usage, governance, how we leverage to drive value
- Experience establishing a Data Literacy program and standards, conducting briefings and assessments, upskilling and increasing fluency across teams
- Experience leading and upskilling data stewards across a large organization
- Good at communicating and working with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree
