- Manage the accurate processing of admission application records and supporting documentation:
- Coordinate applications, completion and verification processes
- Co-coordinate admissions notification process
- Maintain prospective student files, documents and conduct student file audits
- Collect and verify final academic transcripts, managing responses, deferment, change of status requests
- Maintain students’ admissions files (physical files) from applicant to accepted to enrolled and transferring files to the Office of the Registrar upon the start of the respective semester; as well as inactive and withdrawn student files according to document retention policy
- Assist in the planning and coordination of effective integration of multiple interfaces between student information systems including but not limited to Jenzabar and Candidate Resource Management (CRM) software
- Manage online databases (i.e. CFNC, Bellenet, Common Black App, Parchment, Scribble, etc.)
- Monitor and ensures data integrity as it relates to admissions
- Collaborate with the admissions team in performing routine quality assurance checks and troubleshooting issues regarding incomplete admissions applications
- Responsible for running various enrollment reports including daily admissions report as requested by admissions staff, financial aid, Office of the Registrar, faculty, staff and administration
- Develop and implement surveys for department events
- Assist in developing communication plans for prospective students
- Assist with the planning and implementation of recruitment and yield activities in the admissions office
- Develop and maintain correspondence with students, parents, alumnae and other institutional officials & representatives
- Assist with operational duties as needed and assigned
- Willingness to work nights and weekends is required
- Supervise student workers, which includes Student Ambassadors in coordination with the Coordinator of Admission and Office Manager
- Serve as a back-up to the Coordinator of Admissions and Financial Aid when necessary
- Serve as the liaison for the registrar and information technology office
- Perform related duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Significant technical and functional experience in information technology
- Knowledge of Candidate Relationship Management Systems (CRM) (i.e. EMP, EMAS) and knowledge of multiple modules of an integrated student information system (i.e. Jenzabar EX)
- Knowledge of higher education enrollment components (admissions, financial aid, and registration)
- Analytical reporting skills and ability to use software for statistical analyses statistical reporting, database management and verification
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, establish priorities and to manage multiple complex and diverse operations and projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated service aptitude and ability to work independently as well as with students and with colleagues, as a member of a team in a diverse environment
- Must be detailed oriented with a strong aptitude for quality control & accuracy and a commitment to integrity in the admission process
- Willing to work some nights and weekends is required
- A professional demeanor is required with excellent written and oral communication skills and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Bachelor’s degree required with preference in information technology and/or data analytics
- Data entry and database management experience
- Strong computer aptitude
- Experience working at a college or university
