Data Science Engineer

We're looking for a software developer who wants to work with a Data Science team. This role is one part software engineering, one part data engineering, one part cloud engineering, and one part machine learning engineering to enable Data Science projects. This role enables Data Science projects through developing a production ready codebase, architecting, developing, and managing data pipelines, and bringing a problem solver's mindset to new problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Software Engineering. You have experience in test-driven and object-oriented software development and design in python. You also have familiarity with commom Data Science Python Libraries (i.e. scikit-learn, pandas, keras, etc.). Experience in AWS is preferred but not required. 
• Data Engineering. You have structured/unstructred database knowledge, data lake and data warehouse architecture knowledge. Additionally, you have experience integrating data from multiple systems and services across multiple systems, including API integration. You also have experience with CI/CD pipelining and process orchestration.
• Curiousity. You have an undying curiousity around new technologies and continuous learning. In this role, you won't be simply completing agile story requirements, but defining the problem, designing possible solutions and implementing the best fit solution. 
• Project Management. You will own multiple projects where you will define tasks, set timelines, etc. You will also be self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and has experience in time and task management.
• Collaboration. You are a team player who is eager to collaborate within a team and stakeholders. You also must be able to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels.

The annual range for this role varies between $75,000 to $95,000 and may vary depending on the candidate's experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time.
