Job Description
Our partner is looking for a Data Reconciliation Auditor position in Chicago, IL. This role involves evaluating and analyzing claims data, ensuring accuracy in batch loads, reporting error trends, and managing various batch/claim related processes and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and coordinate with internal staff involved in the audit process.
- Engage with external vendors regarding workflow/batch processes.
- Report errors/missed batches to the Management team daily for timely correction.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies during audits, directing them to relevant departments and vendors for resolution.
- Follow up to ensure discrepancies are appropriately addressed.
- Collaborate with internal resources to effectively resolve identified discrepancies.
- Obtain end-to-end understanding of workflows.
- Audit for accuracy and ensure workflow compliance.
- Develop reporting mechanisms for each department and audit process.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation reports for management.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of current criteria and program logic with Vee Technologies, including monthly reporting of audit results to vendors and weekly review of issues/corrections.
- Compile month-end reports of all audits performed by the Quality Assurance Team for monthly presentation to executive management.
- Project manager for all departmental projects.
- Evaluate and analyze data from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment.
- Audit returned mail.
- Audit ECSIF Output (EDI) on paper batches.
Physical Demands:
- Office setting with the ability to sit for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
- Remote.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in medical insurance claims.
- 1-2 years of experience in auditing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of computer systems.
- Proficiency in Word (Intermediate or greater), Excel (Intermediate or greater), Outlook (Intermediate or greater), and Microsoft Access (Advanced experience is a plus).
