Data Pipeline Engineer/Analyst

Job Description: This position involves creating and managing a range of Data Pipeline operations on Google Cloud Platform, following established industry norms. The role includes the design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation of these operations, tailored to meet specific business needs and conform to technical specifications. Additionally, it involves maintaining and resolving issues in existing Data Pipelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structures and data flows for constructing efficient Data Pipelines in line with business objectives.
• Design and deploy technical solutions using coding and tool configuration, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Work autonomously and in collaboration with the team, ensuring constant communication with project teams and leadership.
• Use SQL for database queries to gather data for analysis and to address issues or errors.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of test and deployment strategies, conducting various types of testing and documenting the outcomes.
• Participate in or lead project planning and execution, handling projects with limited scope as required.
• Offer and evaluate coding possibilities for different stages of a project.
• Potentially manage specific phases or smaller projects, depending on their complexity.
• Estimate and monitor the time needed for task completion, contributing to project budgeting and financial management.
• Engage in and contribute to reviews of solution designs, configurations, and code.
• Provide technical guidance to both project and routine support teams.
• Comply with security protocols for managing sensitive data.
• Follow and suggest improvements to development guidelines and standards.
