Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Lead to join our team. As the Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of our organization's data assets. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize data management processes.
Duties:
- Develop and implement data governance strategies, policies, and procedures
- Establish data quality standards and ensure compliance across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance requirements
- Design and implement data governance frameworks and workflows
- Conduct data analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions
- Monitor and track data governance metrics to measure the effectiveness of data management processes
- Provide guidance and training to staff on data governance principles and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective implementation of data governance initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data governance practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Governance Lead or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database design principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Apache Hive, Big Data technologies, Spark, VBA, and other relevant tools
- Familiarity with server architectures and cloud-based platforms
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
D365 CE (At least basic knowledge of CE Tables, Schema , Lookup, Option Set fields), Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, ARM Templates
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 per hour
