Ayin Health Solutions is a leading provider of healthcare technology and administrative services in the state of Oregon. We offer a culture of respect, teamwork, integrity, and pride as well as excellent benefits and pay. We are headquartered in Salem, Oregon however this position is 100% remote.

The Data integration Engineer is responsible for partnering with business and technical stakeholders to plan the delivery of data Integration solutions including design, development, enhancements to processes and components of data pipelines. The role will focus on having a mindset of data quality, governance, and pipeline performance to ensure data integrity and information usability for operations.

This position requires deep industry knowledge in the healthcare administration space and an ability to develop and maintain deep relationships with external customers and clients.

Essential Functions

  • Work collaboratively with customers and teams in design and development of Data Integration/transformation solutions according to functional requirements.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exercise creativity and innovative thinking when exploring solutions
  • Participate in continual improvement processes
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and new product features
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables with competing in a fast-paced environment

Must Have Job-specific skills & Technical Proficiencies:

  • Technology development, integration, and implementation experience in a complex business domain
  • Hands on development experience in complex, large-scalable systems
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Programming in a SQL based database environment (e.g. SQL Server, Amazon Redshift)
  • Experience with modern source control systems such as GitHub
  • Working directly with customers to solve complex business problems using technology
  • Ability to to work with variety of structured and unstructured file formats
  • Focus on data quality issues all the way down to root cause, and implement fixes including data audits to prevent/capture such issues.
  • Support, monitor, execute production application jobs and processes

Perform debugging, troubleshooting, modifications and unit testing of integration solutions

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree In quantitative field such as Computer Science, Programming, or a related field Or equivalent educ/experience
  • 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • 4 years of experience in a database analyst/programmer role.
  • 5 years of technology development, integration, and implementation experience in a complex business domain
  • 3 years of working directly with customers to solve complex business problems using technology
  • 5 years of programming in a SQL based database environment (e.g. SQL Server, Amazon Redshift)

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of hands on development experience in complex, large-scalable systems
  • 3 years of working within a team that employs agile/scrum development methods
  • 2 years of automation frameworks/tools (Git/ CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.)

Nice to have

  • AWS services such as Redshift, Aurora, Dynamo, Glue, S3, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, and SNS/SQSAutomation
  • Frameworks/tools (Git/ CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Professional AWS experience
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as RESTful APIs

The salary range listed for this position MIN:$44.12 to MAX:$71.03 per hour is based upon the primary work location Salem, OR posted. This position is remote. Salary range and offers are determined by internal pay equity and geographic cost of living differences. Salary range will vary from State and region. Salary max is limited to 75% range in order to continue to offer internal pay growth. We welcome open and transparent discussions on salary at Providence.
