Job Description
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for an Intermediate Data Integration and Review Analyst to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics – Army (PM IS&A). This position is contingent upon award.
Duties:
- Provide engineering support in applying industry best practices to C5ISR architecture-based processes, frameworks, tools, and architecture views/viewpoints. These architecture-based systems engineering processes and frameworks include, for example, the Department of Defense (DOD) Architecture Framework (DoDAF), v1.0, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 1471-2000. Architecture views/viewpoints will include Department of Defense Architecture Framework DoDAF operational, system, and technical views as well as additional views needed to describe hardware and the software for development and test purposes and to support future life cycle maintenance.
- Provide architecture-based systems engineering working experience and expertise to perform verification and validation of architecture information to promote consistency, interoperability, and integration; to analyze system concepts and designs; to identify interoperability issues/gaps/shortfalls; and to provide recommendations for optimization.
- Generate architecture-based analysis plans, architecture diagrams, technical assessments, white papers, and technical reports.
- Review and analyze System of Systems (SoS) and C5ISR architecture artifacts and baselines as well as participate in program reviews and make independent evaluations of technical adequacy and completeness of the evolving program architecture and architecture related activities. A significant focus will be put on modular and open systems-based architecture that can support rapid and frequent change.
- Coordinate and synchronize software and hardware requirements and architecture between the developers and System of Systems products for DCGS-A and other systems as directed.
- Support the requirements analysis/definition, design, implementation, integration, and verification of the interoperability interfaces for other supported systems such as CD1, CD2, TITAN, and Intel Apps and other Army, Joint, Interagency, and Multinational requirements. Support includes the evaluation of existing and emerging standards for use within PM IS&A products.
- Support and clarify interoperability certification requirements (for example Army Interoperability Certification), and finalize agreements related to interoperability testing with the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC).
- Maintain and enhance the PM IS&A Application Programing Interface (API). The API will be used for intra-operability across the IS&A portfolio. Support an Engineering Review Board process to manage configuration management and proposed enhancements to the PM IS&A API.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience working with and designing structured, unstructured, or semi-structured data and conducting analysis (SQL databases, JSONs, XML).
- Knowledge of exercise design by understanding, designing, and implementing US Army intelligence messaging formats into the test events.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: TS/SCI
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, System, Software or Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
- At least ten (10) years’ related work experience is required.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
