Johnson County's Aging and Human Service's Department (AHS) is currently recruiting for a Data Entry Technician-Aging (Clerk II) position in our Area Agency on Aging program. Job Description: Duties for this position includes:
- Gathers information; creates, maintains, and disseminates files both public and confidential; develops and distributes reports; performs typing and Data Entry, and processes transactions into systems.
- Answers phones, refers calls, gives standard information in response to phone, email, and in-person inquiries; point person for client billing and taking payments over the phone.
- Reviews discrepancies in data; confirms and determines accurate data; updates, revises, or modifies data to ensure accurate information is available and performs data verification in accordance with standard processes and procedures.
- Completes document imaging process; accepts payments.
- Creates data directories/subdirectories for file and report generation retrieval purposes.
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in relevant field are required.
