Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary:
The Data Entry Specialist at Atlantis Jewels is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data related to repair orders, customer information, inventory, and other administrative tasks into our database. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate records, facilitating smooth workflow processes, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Data Entry and computer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive repair orders, customer information, and other relevant documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy before Data Entry.
• Enter data from repair orders, including item descriptions, repair details, pricing, and customer contact information, into the company's database or information management system accurately and efficiently.
• Verify and update existing database records as needed, including inventory records, customer profiles, and service history.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as the repair team, customer service, and billing, to obtain missing or additional information and resolve discrepancies in Data Entry.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Data Entry procedures, guidelines, and best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Though majority of what will be expected is Data Entry, the ideal candidate will also be able to assist with basic phone calls and emails to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Entry, administrative support, or related role.
• Proficiency in Data Entry and keyboarding skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new software applications and procedures as needed
• Experience in the jewelry industry or familiarity with jewelry repair terminology and processes is a plus, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all Data Entry tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
