Job Duties:

• Assist in the operations of the pharmacy charging system; enter and update third party plan information as it is received from MHA and other sources.
• Update census and payer/plan information in pharmacy software and electronic health record system to include MED A and hospice census.
• Work with providers, pharmacy staff, and nursing to notify when prior authorizations are needed and complete prior authorizations in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Long term care experience preferred.
• Pharmacy billing experience
