Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join a pharmacy in North Ft Lauderdale.The ideal candidate must have a Florida Pharmacy Technician license and previous Data Entry experience. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering prescription information into our computer system.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription information into our computer system.
• Ensure that all prescriptions are processed in a timely manner.
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
• Contact physicians for clarification on prescription information when necessary.
• Follow all pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
• Previous Data Entry experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology.
• Flexibility to work Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
