Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

How you'll help
As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at UpStream, you will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Organization, synchronization, and communication are essential! We leverage the strengths of our team members to do our best work. In-person patient interaction is generally minimal as this is not a traditional retail pharmacy.
What you'll do

• Model an attitude of patient-centric care
• Receive and process electronic prescriptions using pharmacy software
• Process & send refill requests using pharmacy software
• Communicate with patients over the phone regarding their prescription needs or questions
• Communicate and coordinate with other members of UpStream staff in effort to provide excellent patient care
• Follow established processes and seek to improve pharmacy accuracy and efficiency
• Adhere to all company, state, and federal laws and guidelines, including those relating to pharmacy dispensing, HIPAA, and fraud, waste, and abuse

Experience and skills you'll need

• 1+ year Pharmacy Technician experience
• 1+ year of data-entry experience
• PTCB Certification preferred

Job Specific Details
This role will work in our Greensboro, NC headquarters located in the Revolution Mill Campus.
This is a Full-Time position working Monday - Friday between 8:30am to 5:00pm (with a 30-minute lunch break). Hours are typically consistent but may occasionally vary.
