Data Entry Operator

Knowledge Services is seeking a Data Entry Operator to work a 3+ month contract position with the Department of Revenue.

This person will be required to work on-site in our client's office located on the Southwest side of Indianapolis.  

• Monday-Friday, 8am - 4pm EST
• $17 per hour
• Anticipated start date is February 5, 2024

• Verifies and logs receipt of data
• Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for Data Entry
• Transcribes source data into the required electronic format
• Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
• Performs high-volume Data Entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software and programs

• High School diploma or GED
• High attention to detail
• Must be able to pass a typing test with at least 7500 keystrokes per hour    
• Ability to sit for 6-7 hours in front of a computer
