HOURLY RATE: $18.00 - 21.00 per hour (based on relevant experience)

SUMMARY:
The City of Fort Collins RealEstate Services (RES) is hiring a part-time position focusing on Data Entry intothe Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system, Laserfiche. The primary jobresponsibilities of this position is to digitize physical documents and enterdata into Laserfiche. This position will also provide backup customer servicesupport, and occasional office support to the RES team. This is a part-timeposition working no more than 29 hours/week. The RES Data Entry Clerk reportsto the RES Manager.
WORKSCHEDULE:
Thisposition is expected to work up to 29 hours per week. A typical work week isMonday - Friday.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City of Fort Collins hasbeen undergoing a migration since 2019 of our previous Document ManagementSystem, SIRE, to the new ECM, Laserfiche. The Real Estate Department has anabundance of physical documents that need to be compiled, digitized, and organized.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Thefollowing duties and responsibilities are illustrative of the primary functionof this position and are not intended to be all inclusive.
-Prepare files for the document imaging process.
-Review and analyze existing records in Laserfiche for consistency with the metadata and make corrections where necessary, in accordance with indexing standards and procedures.
-Import and index previously scanned records and analyze them for consistency and accuracy.
-Ensure completeness of files, research missing documents and prepare and organize documents to conform to quality control standards and system processes.
-Operate imaging equipment to create quality-level document images.
-Maintain, update, scan and index electronic files
-Implement and maintain electronic file organization structure and categorization
-Maintain legacy physical files, while transitioning to electronic files
-Document and update records and information management operating procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

-General knowledge of office equipment operations.
-Knowledge of and previous experience with Enterprise Content Management systems preferred.

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE:
HighSchool diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Abilityto read and interpret documents, instruction, and procedure manuals.Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization.
REASONINGABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems reasonably andeffectively.
PHYSICALDEMANDS:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20pounds.
