These studies support the mission of the museum by collecting critical information measuring the impact of arts experiences. The primary methods used by the Data Collector will be surveys and interviews. A primary data collection activity includes conducting an exit survey to help the museum learn who is coming to visit, why they are visiting, how they experienced their visit, and how welcome they feel at the museum. This study has been in place since 2016. Data from these studies is shared with leadership and the board to help make institutional decisions and ensure Crystal Bridges and the Momentary are carrying out our mission of welcoming all to the museum.

The weekly schedule for this position is based on the timelines for research and evaluation studies at the museum and requires work hours during museum operating hours (which include day, night, weekday, and weekend). This position is scheduled to work between eight and twenty hours per month but may vary based on seasonal museum attendance.
