In early 2024, Fraser is working towards certification for a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBCH). This will allow Fraser to meet the increasing need for autism, mental health, and disability services in our community. This will provide our clients with faster access to treatment, whole-person care that is both inclusive and culturally-responsive, and care coordinators that will provide continuous support throughout our clients’ treatment journey.

We are searching for an Data Collection Specialist who will be responsible works closely with the Population Health Data Analyst/Program Evaluator to ensure data is collected appropriately to be used for analysis and evaluation. This position aids in administering and managing Fraser’s quality improvement programs/initiatives in a manner consistent with SAMSHA Grant and our CCBHC certification.

The position requires good organizational and time management skills, the ability to work independently, communicate effectively within the agency and with external partners, and competency in/with technology applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform Data Collection, analysis, and reporting for collecting NOMs, IPP goals, federal and state CCBHC measures, and other required data for our CCBHC requirements.
  • Ensure client and program data is accurate, complete, and timely recorded in the agency’s electronic health record.
  • Prepare quarterly reports to meet grant reporting requirements.
  • Uses data to measure the efficiency of our services and our fidelity to the CCBHC model.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and security of protected health information collected during the project.
  • Perform Data Collection interviews and data entry.
  • Work in collaboration with Database Administrator to ensure successful integration of Data Collection and evaluation metrics into our electronic health record and practices.
  • Under guidance of Project Evaluator, perform data submission to federal, state, and local bodies.
  • Communicates findings to Project Evaluator (Population Health Data Analyst).
  • Maintains relevant database systems, client files and records for consistency, accuracy, and compliance while exploring and implementing improvements for optimum us, accuracy and reporting of information and providing reports when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields, or combination of education with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a data analyst, preference in a healthcare field.
  • At least two years professional experience in Data Collection, analyzing, and reporting data outcome tools.
  • At least one year experience working a behavioral healthcare setting.

Location, Pay & Schedule:

  • This position can be fully remote / Bloomington, MN
  • Starting at $48,000 per year
  • This is a full-time, benefit eligible position working standard business hours Monday through Friday.
