We are seeking (12) Data Center / Cable Technicians to work in Los Lunas, NM.
Summary:
Responsible for cabling and termination of Cat 5/6 and fiber optics for a premiere Data Center. The position includes rack/stack, testing, and troubleshooting of wiring problems.
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Shift: First Shift, M-F
Job Functions:
- Responsible for running new cabling in new or existing Data Center.
- Cables used could include but not limited to Cat5, Cat6, Fiber (single mode or multi mode), and coax.
- Installing, labeling, dressing, terminating, and testing various cables.
- Building out racks and cabinets
- Unloading and unboxing materials at the beginning of the project, and site clean up at the end.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in low voltage or electrical field
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
- Comfortable working in new construction environments
