ADP is hiring a Data Center Facilities Manager in Sioux Falls, SD

The Data Center Facilities Manager will manage a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of a large critical Data Center supporting a global IT Infrastructure at ADP. The Manager is a 24x7x365 central point of contact, communication, and incident support for the technology and global infrastructure at ADP.

 

In this role, you will supervise and direct the facility operations personnel and manage onsite vendors for a large critical Data Center. The activities performed will include but not be limited to UPS systems, PDU / RPP, chiller systems, generator, and switchgear operations.  You will communicate with diverse groups to ensure leadership awareness, ability to meet installation, decommissioning, and modification needs, and scheduling of preventative maintenance. All while maintaining the required uptime standards of the business.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
  • 7+ years’ experience successfully managing a facilities team supporting a mission critical Data Center with uptime requirements in place.
  • In depth knowledge of all aspects of critical building systems including but not limited to UPS systems, PDU / RPP, chiller systems, generator, and switchgear operations.
  • An understanding of building construction to allow for accurate and timely problem diagnosis and resolution. 
  • Experience in managing a staff of critical facilities technicians with the training and knowledge to support day to day critical facilities operation in a Data Center environment.
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with other departments in planning and implementing project essentials.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage the message depending on the audience.    
  • Must be proficient in standard computer applications and software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint, WebEx, etc.
  • Must have extensive knowledge with critical facilities management software such as building automation and power monitoring systems.
