Data Cable Technician

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, cable systems for commercial customers
- Perform cable splicing, termination, and testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cable connections and signal quality
- Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and modems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Cable Technician or in a related field preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in cable installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of fiber splicing techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts and protocols
- Experience in field service or customer support roles is a plus
- Understanding of Ethernet, cabling, network installation, and low voltage electrical systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.85 - $25.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
