Data Architect (Remote)

Digital Strategy LLC is looking to hire a Data Architect/Microsoft Developer with Power Platform experience to help drive impactful insights through the delivery of pivotal data analytics products tailored for federal clients. Our data analytics solutions make a meaningful impact on government staffing, engagement, performance, and efficiency.

Your Role:

As the Data Architect, you will:

• Design and oversee the architecture of data and information systems to meet organizational needs and goals.
• Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and system architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure data and systems solutions.
• Define data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of work experience, with a minimum of 8 years as a Data Architect with Power Platform experience.
• A Master’s Degree may substitute for two (2) years’ of experience.
• Proficient in designing Data Architecture solutions, especially with Microsoft technologies.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining data models, databases, and data pipelines.
• Highly experienced in utilizing Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) for creating business solutions.
• Capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions using Power Platform.
• Proficient in SQL and other database query languages.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, data governance best practices and security controls.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team with business stakeholders to understand their needs.
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• Experience in Agile product development methodologies, fostering flexibility and adaptability.
• Experience with recruiting and workforce planning activities and data is a plus.
• Effective at designing and implementing solutions that meet scalability and performance requirements.
• Due to federal guidelines, US Citizenship is required for this role.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
