Job Description: Under limited supervision, creates project level Data Architecture artifacts for specific projects. Working with the business, IT and other architects, facilitates the creation and evaluation of data models, data governance data strategy through the review of requirements and use cases to recommend project level artifacts with strategic initiatives and with the standard methodologies for development. Overlapping responsibilities with the data engineers to design, implement, test and deploy data transformation pipeline. Ensuring queries running against the various data products are fully optimized for performance and cost.
Qualifications: Master’s degree Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment, in lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience. Experience must include the following: Data Architecture; Data Engineering; Data Analysis; Data Governance; BI/Dashboard Development; Data ETL Skills/Tools; Cloud Solutions Architecture; Data Modeling. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement. May telecommute from home from any location in the U.S.
- Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
