Data Strategy and Planning:
" Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational goals.
" Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.
" Define Data Architecture principles, standards, and policies.
Data Modeling and Design:
" Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
" Ensure data models align with business requirements and industry best practices.
" Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database structures.
Data Integration:
" Oversee the integration of data from various sources into a unified architecture.
" Implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow.
" Collaborate with ETL developers to design and optimize data pipelines.
Database Technologies:
" Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate database technologies, including but not limited to:
" Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle.
" NoSQL databases like MongoDB for flexible and scalable data storage.
" Event streaming platforms like Kafka for real-time data processing.
Data Governance and Quality:
" Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
" Implement data quality frameworks to monitor and improve data accuracy.
" Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data standards.
Technology Evaluation and Adoption:
" Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools for data management.
" Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Data Architecture.
" Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to assess the feasibility of new technologies.
