Job Summary:
Reporting to the Sr. Global Data Analyst, this internship position will help to support project analytics for global BI and Data initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with other team members to understand goals and work to meet them.
- Manage specific project(s) as defined to their conclusion.
- Maintain project Gantt chart to assist in accomplishing key objectives of the project within the designated timeline.
- Assist with analytics on projects as defined.
- Work cross-functionally to collect needed information required to complete project as defined.
- Organize and analyze data sets to determine trends and key information useful to meet the project objectives.
- Projects may include:
- Business Intelligence Analytics
- Promotions impact analysis
- Pricing analysis
- Proof of Concept on data insights for
Qualifications

- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about analyzing and interpreting business data.

Work Environment:
- Normal office environment
- Willing to report to work in the Pleasanton CooperVision office.
- Prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
- This is a paid internship.
Experience:
- Applicant will be pursuing a major preferably in Marketing, Finance, Economics or Statistics
- Prior experience with data modeling and analysis required.
- Demonstrated expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
- Current college student, majoring in statistics, economics, analytics are preferred. Focus on the business environment is important. Preferred Masters candidates, although strong undergraduates will be considered.
- GPA >3.5 is a plus.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $26.50 and $30.25 an hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
