JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Data Analyst III
Location: Dededo, Guam
Rivet Operations Company has an opening for a Data Analyst to join our growing team in the Dededo, Guam area. Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) is a leader in physical and cyber security, scientific research, development, and facilities management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

• Supports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insights to stakeholders for decision-making or solution development
• Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics
• Constructs data sets, monitors data quality, troubleshoots and resolves database issues to ensure data integrity
• Utilizes scripting and querying tools like Python, R or SQL, data visualization/BI tools, statistical methods, and data modeling to produce reports, data files, and dashboards
• Provide SharePoint Online administration support: maintain development environment, provide real time, ad hoc reporting, update user guides.
• Support knowledge management by controlling a handful of SharePoint sites: edit, draft, and publish changes, maintain configuration controls.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements
• Cultivated interpersonal skills by building positive relationships with others.
• Open-minded, leans forward and does not hesitate to reach out to others for help

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred
• 4 to 7 years experience in Data Analytics or other applicable experience
• DoD experience preferred
• Strong communication skills; motivated to investigate, analyze, and document system issues and resolutions
• Minimum Baseline Certification: CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent
• Experience using SharePoint Online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2016
• Minimum Operating system experience: Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Requires the applicant to obtain the security clearance requirement for the position
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
