Position Overview
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Data Analyst to support an existing Task Order for its flagship contract. The ideal candidate will assist with the development and maintenance of a data mart and will ideally have experience with various data/reporting tools/technologies including Dremio, Python, Oracle databases, ANSI-Standard SQL, Amazon Web Services, Tableau, and Sharepoint. The Data Analyst will report to the Task Order Lead and Program Manager and provide regular updates on project status/issues/concerns in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a data mart as well as modification, visualization, and maintenance based on identified requirements
Collaborate with customers and other technical staff as needed to clarify/elaborate on requirements and desired inputs/outputs
Document the design, algorithms, testing, and source codes in the appropriate shared document directory in accordance with specified development standards
Conduct testing of all datasets/outputs and visualizations created before delivery to customers for User Acceptance Testing using agency supported tools
Ensure all design/development items adhere to best practices/industry standards to the fullest extent possible
Provide highly technical expertise in the installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of all data mart products utilized
Job Qualifications
6-8 years of experience with various tools/technologies including Dremio, Python, Oracle databases, ANSI-Standard SQL, Amazon Web Services, Tableau, and Sharepoint.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States.
Ability to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance
Familiarity/knowledge of development methodologies and best practices
