This role will successfully support software implementations through data collection efforts and database population under supervision. Data Analyst Intern will process data relating to data center infrastructure equipment. Data Analyst Intern will also survey equipment in data centers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze, scrub, and migrate data from current source to DCIM database. Create basic MS Excel queries, vlookups and filters. Provide data organization, format, and structure as needed.
- Research and create models of data center equipment.
- Use Microsoft Visio to create data center floor maps.
- Create Dynamic Plugins from SNMP walk files under supervision.
- Travel to remote regional data center locations (up to 25%) to complete datacenter physical audits
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree, e.g. some post-high school education in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
- High technical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of interdependencies
- One year of experience providing data support
- Excellent customer-facing project management, analysis, troubleshooting, and technical skills
- Demonstrated basic technical knowledge of Windows 10 and MS Excel xls/csv file creation
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Accountability and the ability to adapt/multi-task/manage changing priorities
- Self-motivated, ability to learn and apply new skills quickly
- Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong time management skills, including ability to work on time sensitive projects to meet deliverables by expected due date
- Able to write, clear, concise, and effective documentation of a technical nature
- Ability to reports to the office daily when not traveling
- Up to 25% travel possible
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Computer hardware experience
- Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD – room layout drawings
- Data Center Infrastructure experience
- Network Infrastructure experience

- 8 hour shift
