EAC Network, a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 62,888 people in need through 100 programs across Long Island and NYC, seeks an Data Administrator to work full time for its Medication Grant program.

The Data Administrator position is a non-exempt position paying $20-24 per hour at 35 hours per week. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM and the office is located in Bronx, NY. The role reports to Program Director.

Primary Purpose of Job:

Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Coordinator, the Data Administrator reviews and updates patient files on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with MGP requirements.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and continually update database of clients registered for MGP in accordance with funder requirements.
2. Utilize epaces and other databases to obtain information needed to disenroll MGP clients after 90 days.
3. Identify discrepancies or missing information in MGP requests, and work with QA Coordinator to seek solutions.
4. Follow the policies and procedures of MGP and all privacy rules around handling Protected Health Information.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

1. Associates degree in Health Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.
2. Minimum of High School Diploma or educational equivalent required.
3. Understanding of Medicaid, including epaces, restriction codes and re-certification process, preferred.
4. Excellent communication and organization skills.
5. Strong Excel skills helpful. Must be proficient in other computer applications and other automated systems such as Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
