Location: Dallas TX OR NY Metro Area OR Chicago, IL (When not required at any of the end customer locations, the Engineer can work remotely)

The In-Building RF Engineer must be able to understand propagation modeling, link budgets, and model tuning.
The In-Building RF Engineer must be iBwave Certified.
The In-Building RF Engineer must be familiar with JDSU In-Building walk test gear, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc. and how to perform indoor baseline/performance measurements. Test gear will be provided by Alcate-Client.
The In-Building RF Engineer must be familiar with LTE, UMTS, CDMA, EvDo, at a minimum
The In-Building RF Engineer must be familiar with Corning/Mobile Access (MA1000, MA2000, and VE), Andrew/Commscope (ION-B and ION-M), Solid, and Client Electronics (Interreach Unison, Prism, and Flexwave Prism) distributed antenna system products.
The In-Building Engineer must have experience in the design and implementation of multi-service provider DAS solutions.
The In-Building RF Engineer must have strong troubleshooting skills.
The In-Building RF Engineer should be a College Graduate; Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent working experience
The In-Building RF Engineer should have a minimum of 3 years of design, integration and optimization experience with one or more of the DAS solutions listed above
The In-Building RF Engineer will perform Site Surveys for design and construction, develop bill of materials, designs, Statements of Work, and services quotes for In-Building projects
The In-Building RF Engineer will provide technical installation support.
The In-Building RF Engineer will develop, execute, and analyze acceptance test plans and associated data/results.
The In-Building RF Engineer will drive the technical aspects of the projects assigned to him/her including assisting with requirements gathering.
The In-Building RF Engineer will need to become a trusted advisor to Alcatel-Clients customers
The In-Building RF Engineer will need to work with other product and service teams
Working at local customer/partner locations is required, up to 50% of the time.
