Dance Teacher/Choreographer

The Morton Street Dance Center is expanding. We are seeking a few special, skilled, and highly motivated and dance instructors to join our team. As a dance instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of dance styles to students of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in dance education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching. Ballet teachers may be supplied a syllabus, depending upon the level that you would teach.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, teaching technique and choreography, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidates will possess a strong understanding of dance theory and be able to effectively communicate it to students.

Requirements for the position include a Bachelor's degree in dance or a related field, a minimum of two years teaching experience, and proficiency in multiple dance styles. Candidates should be reliable, time conscious, able to work well in a team environment, and be extremely committed to the growth and development of our students and the school, in general.
