Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is a local private school of music, dance, and drama serving over 1800 students across three campuses in Covington, New Orleans, and Mandeville. As our student body continues to grow, we are seeking additional talented, motivated, and qualified Dance Teachers with a passion for dance education. LAAPA offers flexible schedules, performance opportunities, and a stimulating work environment.
Now hiring for Spring/Summer 2024 teaching opportunities at our three campuses in the Greater New Orleans area. We are seeking substitute and regular faculty members.
We are currently seeking dance instructors able to teach Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary/Modern classes at beginning-intermediate levels. Classes range from toddlers - teens and adults.

Requirements:
1.) Professional training in your specific genre(s) and ability to teach in one or more of the following: ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary/modern, toddler ballet.
2.) Ability to work with students of all ages from young beginners to adults
3.) Ability to choreograph and lead rehearsals.
