Job Description: As a Dairy Manufacturing Machine Operator at Valley Milk, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various dairy manufacturing machines to ensure efficient and safe production of dairy products, including milk, cheese, yogurt, and more. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate dairy manufacturing equipment such as pasteurizers, separators, fillers, and packaging machines.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation of machinery to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures to ensure product safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
Skills & Qualifications
Dairy Manufacturing experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a dairy manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Willingness to work in a team and follow safety protocols.
Proficient in basic math and reading comprehension. Effectively communicate across team environment.
