The Day Shift Process Engineer will drive manufacturing equipment process improvements through collaborative teamwork to meet the aggressive technology development timelines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures.
- Oversee the maintenance and productivity of a fleet of manufacturing equipment inside the factory.
- Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process. Participate in the development of intellectual property.
- Development of the equipment necessary to exploit the understanding gained in research (in collaboration with equipment suppliers).
- Work effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues.
- Operate a manufacturing line to integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
- In-depth knowledge in Data analysis, willing to construct clear data-based problem statements.

Qualifications:
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) field of study.
- 6+ months of experience in one or more of the following:
- Materials characterization (SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope), etc.).
- Materials fabrication synthesis metrology.
- Statistical data analysis (MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in vacuum or abatement systems
- Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industries
