Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures.
• Oversee the maintenance and productivity of a fleet of manufacturing equipment inside the factory.
• Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process. Participate in the development of intellectual property.
• Development of the equipment necessary to exploit the understanding gained in research (in collaboration with equipment suppliers).
• Work effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues.
• Operate a manufacturing line to integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
• In-depth knowledge in Data analysis, willing to construct clear data-based problem statements.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Qualifications:
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Math) field of study.
- 6+ months of experience in one or more of the following:

• Materials characterization (SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope), etc.).
• Materials fabrication synthesis metrology.
• Statistical data analysis (MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in vacuum or abatement systems
• Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industries

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
