We are currently hiring for a Cylinder Mechanic.
Hours are 8AM - 5PM / 7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday - 2nd Shift as designated by Ops Manager or Leader.
*Overtime maybe required based on customer demand.
The purpose of this position is to perform all applicable testing of rebuilt components off of heavy and industrial equipment to ensure their performance and quality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely and accurately tear down and inspection of hydraulic cylinders
- Determine operable parts based on quality standards
- Communicate clear and precise work order instructions to be used by machinists remanufacturing any damaged parts found
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
- 1-2 years mechanical experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to understand drawings and schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Knowledge to use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, bore indicators and dial indicators
- High school diploma or GED required, comparable trade school or apprenticeship experience a plus
