Mission

This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventories in the Manufacturing Operating System.

Primary job functions typically require exercising independent judgment. Employee must be flexible with working hours and conditions to meet customer's and company's requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage day to day activities of cycle counting team.
• Work with internal and external auditors to support cycle count program, test counts and any audit questions.
• Document during the year what areas have been cycle counted so that the full facility is counted each year and the system is updated accordingly.
• Ensure on shelf stock quantities in the Manufacturing Operating System are correct.
• Ensure all parts inventory are accurately counted during the year.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to determine and eliminate causes of inaccurate inventory quantities.
• Identify nonconforming inventory when discovered and communicate findings with logistics to coordinate isolation.
• Drive continual improvement of cycle counting processes and systems.
• Report the results of counts and make the required inventory adjustments.
• Ensure items which have been counted are returned to storage in a neat and orderly manner.
• Safeguard all materials during counts, both those being counted and others in the area.
• Work with assemblers so as not to interrupt the work flow.
• Follow all company policies, including health and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we expect of you?

Experience
• BPCS knowledge and experience a plus.
• Microsoft Office basic working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and Email.

Education
• Position requires a high school diploma.

Skills
• In English the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos and ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in standardized situations.
• Organized and able to work accurately with attention to detail.
• Able to get along with employees at all levels.
