Work Flexibility: Hybrid
You will play a key role in enhancing our organization's security posture by leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of identity and access management strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating identity-related risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing strategic direction to enhance our overall cybersecurity resilience. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate identity-related risks across the organization. Your expertise will help ensure that our organization maintains a robust security posture and remains resilient against cyber threats. You are also responsible for leading the development and execution of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to Risk Identity Management.
This hybrid role is based out of our Portage, MI office. You will need to be in office 2 days a week and will have the flexibility to work from home the other days.

What you will do
- Incumbent provides leadership, vision, and a strong understanding of Information Security domains and the common book of knowledge as well as an understanding of the security governance process.
- Meets organizational goals and exceeds industry best practices and requirements to ensure the security of the Stryker assets.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of risk identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
- Develop and enforce identity-related policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments related to identity and access management.
- Identify and prioritize potential risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's identity infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain identity governance and administration (IGA) processes.
- Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness within the organization. Provides training and guidance to staff on secure identity practices.
- In coordination with the Cybersecurity IR Manager, develop and maintain an incident response plan specific to identity-related incidents. Participate in the responses to identity and access security incidents.
What you need
• Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent required
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, preferred
• 4+ years experience required in IT or a similar field
• 3+ years experience in information security, cybersecurity, or similar functional areas preferred
• Experience working with third-party providers
