Cybersecurity Engineer

OSI Digital's Cybersecurity Practice is looking for an accomplished Cybersecurity Engineer/architect to deliver cybersecurity consulting services across several cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure domains.  This person will have experience in implementing complex network, infrastructure and cybersecurity tools, systems, and appliances.  This is a hands on engineering role that will expose the candidate to many different clients and engagements.  

 

Expectations, Experience and Knowledge 

• 7 plus years of progressive experience working in cybersecurity Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and/or SOC teams

• Networking, network architecture and engineering, and network security experience required  

• Experience implementing security technology, systems, appliances and tools both on prem and in the cloud

• AWS, Azure Cloud Security Experience:  Container security, Identity and Access Management 

• Penetration Testing and Attack Simulation experience 

• SOC IR support experience with containment and eradication of threats 

• Knowledge of IPS/IDS, HIDS, FW, NGFW, AV, DNS, SIEM, SASE, SWG a plus 

• Incident Response, event correlation, and forensic investigation experience 

• PKI and Cert management knowledge and experience a plus

• Proficient in programming and scripting languages: Python, Perl, Powershell 

• Proficient in Windows Server and Linux operating systems

• Lead / participate in pre-sales efforts  

• Understanding of Cyber Threats, threat intel, and attack surface management 

• Leading, Coaching, Mentoring experience 

• Strong communication and writing skills

 

Desired Industry Certifications  

• CISSP, CASP+, CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CCNA, CCIE, CEH, CISM, CISA 

Good working knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks 

• NIST 800-53,171,CSF;  ISO 27000 series; MITRE ATT&CK; CIS Controls; HITRUST, COSO
