Form of workAllegheny Science & Technology (AST) is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to provide support to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE-ID) by working to assist in the oversight of all related IT and cyber project management to plan and coordinate projects. This position may aid in the related cybersecurity and IT project management for planning and coordination of project status, take on administrative duties, and independently manage new cyber requirements to ensure program stability to include the below supporting tasks:Job Description: Assist as primary oversight for Cyber Security program support. Support coordination and management of projects. Communication with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals. Coordinate internal and external document review and approval; i.e., Risk Assessment, Interconnection Security Agreement, System Security Plan, etc.
related to cyber. Prepare and coordinate Purchase Requests (approval and processing remains Fed). Manage the IMD project plan (timelines, reminders; e.g., coordination for plan input) for ICP. Coordinate data call requests, prepare by collecting information from various sources, ensure completed responses from the appropriate parties are submitted. Manage and Publish IMD policy, SOPs, process and procedures -collect notes for revisions and coordinate revisions, updates and approvals to assist the AODR. Coordinate Zeus (workflow) tasking and milestones for IMD projects related to ICP. Monitor regular licensed software renewals - collect bids, work with IMD to generate specs for ICP. Schedule meetings and meeting resources for IMD in support of ICP.Position Requirements: Minimum 3 years related experience in cybersecurity. Bachelor's degree in related field. Must be a U.S. Citizen* Must be able to obtain a Q clearance.
