Duties and Responsibilities  

• Assist in monitoring security alerts and incidents using various security tools 
• Participate in incident response activities, including analyzing and containing security incidents 
• Support the cybersecurity team in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on our systems, networks, and applications 
• Document and report findings, and collaborate on remediation strategies 
• Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness and training materials for employees 
• Help raise awareness about best practices and potential security risks 
• Gain hands-on experience with a variety of security tools and technologies used in the field 
• Assist in managing and maintaining security related software and hardware 
• Understand all policies, procedures, and incident response plans and assist in maintaining these documents as changes are warranted 
• Stay informed about the latest Cyber Security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices 
• Assist in researching and evaluating new security technologies and trends 
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and ensure a secure environment 
• Assist in analyzing security-related data to identify trends in potential areas of concern 
• Contribute to regular security reports and updates for management 

Skills and Abilities  

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, information security, computer science, or a related field 
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles 
• Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and technologies 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment 
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to the field of cybersecurity
