Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer (AI-Focused) to support our client in Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will provide direct guidance within a team of acquisition, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and IT professionals. This team is focused on the deployment of innovative capabilities related to Storage and Compute, Network Transport, User Support, and Cyber Security in a cloud environment delivered as a service.Qualified candidates must have at least an active TS SCI clearance.
The Cyber Security Engineer will:
- Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity, operational, and programmatic risks, including input on contractual matters.
- Formulate and communicate risk reduction strategies aligned with innovation, organizational goals, and resource availability.
- Assess and identify impacts to contract delivery from changes to cybersecurity requirements or policy.
- Display familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
- Plan, develop, and implement AI and ML models and algorithms.
- Develop and oversee continuous monitoring plans for cybersecurity control compliance.
- Develop business processes to support effective cybersecurity capabilities.
- Assess operational cybersecurity requirements and provide actionable projections.

- Plan and oversee cybersecurity assessments, analyze results, and report findings.
- Evaluate hardware and software products for zero trust compliance and operational effects.
- Implement Zero Trust policies and DevSecOps (DSO) practices.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an active TS SCI security clearance.
- Masters degree preferred, however a Bachelor's Degree in computer science with six years of relevant experience is a minimum requirement.
- Proven experience in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing cybersecurity risks in innovative environments.
- Deep understanding of government acquisition regulations (FAR, DFAR) and DoD acquisition procedures.
- Familiarity with AI/ML planning and implementation, IUI techniques, and data processing.
- Extensive experience with RMF 2.0, continuous monitoring, and DoD policy exceptions.
- Practical experience in DevSecOps and evaluating cybersecurity technologies for federal clients.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience in refining business processes, drafting policies and assessing their impact on cybersecurity and operational goals.
- Threat-centric operational experience in cybersecurity, preferably within military or federal contexts.
Business Development
Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
