RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential:
- Monitor and analyze login activity.
- Monitor, install, and upgrade anti-virus activity and software.
- Assist with creating Bridge Modules.
- Assist with penetration tests.
- Assist with database queries.
- Assist with identifying fraudulent activity and accounts.
- Securely wipe hard drives.
- Assist with camera installation as needed.
- Assist with managing camera software platform.
- Monitor Spam Reporting activity and adjust filter settings.
- Research technology and design as needed.
- Assist other ITS employees as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation.
- Identify vulnerabilities within the HutchCC network.
- Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
- Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
Secondary:
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the InfoSec Team Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication skills
- IT experience or certificate preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality in a student-centered environment.
- The ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, racial, socioeconomic, gender and disabilities populations.
- Physical activities will include lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, carrying, etc.; visual acuity to view a computer terminal; use appropriate judgment and apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately. Heavy, indoor/outdoor work environment.

HOURLY RATE of PAY and STATUS:
The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with qualifications, as determined by the HutchCC administration. This position is part-time, 12 months annual, and nonexempt. This position qualifies for the KPERS Retirement Plan but is not eligible for the HutchCC Benefit Package due to the part-time status.
